Friday Fashion inspiration

Happy Friday! Hope you had a great week. I had extremely busy week and on top of that unfortunately my brother got very ill. Seems like he’s got some nasty virus, but I’m hoping he gets well very soon and will be able to get to the studio to create more beautiful pieces.

On Friday I usually would post a beautiful jewellery editorial that caught my eye, however today I felt like sharing this beautiful film by Karl Lagerfeld about the beginning of Coco Chanel.

When I watched it I could relate a lot with the movie as to how the business started. The only thing that I didn’t like about it was that regardless how much I like Keira Knightley, I really wanted her to speak with a French accent.

Other than that it’s a lovely little movie and perfect for relaxation:)

Fashion Inspiration: Vogue India

Happy Friday everyone! London is back to being grey Long anticipated summer ran away again…. Oh well, you’ve got to work with what you have. Luckily I’m surrounded by colourful jewellery, so my days aren’t that grey after all.

For today’s Fashion Inspiration post I chose this beautiful editorial from Vogue India, March 2013. It has a tribal feel, which reminds me of a shoot I was taking part in last year.

The image from Vogue editorial with a model in a cropped top with oversized yellow earrings with feathers and the one with a model in a colourful fringe dress are two of my absolute favourites.

Friday Fashion Inspiration: “Kiss of the Matador”

Happy Friday! Hope your week was good and you are all looking forward for some relaxing weekend. Today for my Friday Fashion Inspiration post I chose an absolutely amazing editorial for Vogue Japan March 2012, featuring Bianca Balti as shot by Giampaolo Sgura.

The editorial is called “Kiss of the Matador” and what an editorial it is…. Featuring an array of creations from D&G, Versace, Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen, Pucci, Balmain, and many more it was styled by Anna Dello Russo. I am totally in love….

Firstly just look at the cover… I can’t even describe how amazing this jewelled up corset is…

Fashion inspiration: Objects of desire and Madame Butterfly

It’s Friday, which means it’s time for a “Fashion inspiration” post.

I stumbled across these two editorials from Elle, back from 2010. They are absolutely gorgeous and really caught my eye.

The first one is called “Objects of desire” and I chose these two images as for me they perfectly well reflect the title of the shoot.

The second one is called “Madame Butterfly” and simply oozes luxury.

I stumbled across this jewellery editorial by Ben Heller for Vogue Russia May 2010. It features beautiful jewels in a shape of various creatures of sea, ground and sky and since it’s spring and time when all the flora and fauna is coming alive, it seemed rather appropriate timing:) Enjoy!

Friday Inspiration

It’s Friday already, unbelievable how fast the time is flying. So today is the “inspiration” day and I am totally in love with the “Office Supplies” editorial for Marie Clair US for the May 2012 issue.

Wish this was a reality and we could all wear an enormous amount of jewellery at the same time. I certainly like the secretary with an abundance of rings allegedly typing away:)
