Statement jewels and the sunshine

Happy Friday! The weekend is nearly here and I hope you are feeling fabulous.
It’s still a very hot summer in London and I spent all day at the studio yesterday, catching some sun on our jewels. In fact that’s not hard at all, the necklaces sparkle pretty easily in the sunshine, so if you want to make an impression browse our collection and choose the piece you like. No matter how big or small if they have crystals – they will be sparkly! Works equally well in the evening, with artificial light or a candle.

Have a beautiful day ahead!

New Madeira statement necklace

Happy Thursday! Hope you are all having a great week. It’s still tropical hot in London and is set to be the same next week too! It’s a perfect time to host and enjoy summer parties, where you need no more than a pair of heels, a stunning floaty dress and of course a bold jewellery piece, to make a statement.

If you follow us you’ll be familiar that one thing that our jewellery pieces don’t lack – it’s colour and boldness. And today I wanted to show you another newly created piece – Madeira statement necklace.

This beautiful Jolita Jewellery handmade statement necklace is made with blue silk braid, mixing in a touch of vibrant orange, hand-dyed by the designer in his London studio. The necklace is embellished with a row of small crystals in blue, colourful neon rhinestones and adorned with a beautiful cobalt blue crystal necklace. Secures at the back with a lobster clasp and a chain.

It’s created with a beautiful hand-dyed silk braid in blue as a base colour, mixing in a touch of vibrant orange. The silk braid is then embellished with neon round beads and a row of small blue crystals, intricately hand-stitched above the blue crystal necklace. Some of the crystals are hand-painted, adding colour splashes, inspired by Jackson Pollock’s paintings.

The middle stone is covered with silk, hand-dyed in vibrant orange with a sprinkle of gold.

Hope you like this necklace? If interested – you can find it on our website.

Have a beautiful day ahead!

New colourful Sao Paulo statement necklace

Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a lovely and relaxing weekend. I had some problems with our website and my email address, which took 3 days to sort itself out, so I just now finished going through hundreds of emails, apologising to all the people who probably thought how rude of me not to reply for days. Technologies sometimes can be extremely frustrating…

Anyway, putting that aside I wanted to show you a new, just made, hot from the studio colourful Sao Paulo necklace.

Colourful Sao Paulo statement necklace by Jolita Jewellery, created with a dip-dyed silk braid, gradually changing from fuchsia to scarlet, hand-dyed in our studio. The silk braid is embellished with hand-painted crystals and two small luxury crystal bugs, dipped in gold.

It’s a hybrid between the smaller and “traditional” ever so popular Casablanca style necklace. Made with vibrant silk braid, hand-dyed in our studio, and hand-painted crystals. Two small dipped in gold crystal bugs are placed at both sides of the crystals to add finishing touches to this piece.

It’s a one-off necklace, not to be repeated again, we made it also available at a really low price of £215, so if it’s something you find interesting – you can find it here.

Hope you like it:)

Have a lovely day ahead!

New neon Maldives statement necklace

Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great week. I seem to be having massive issues with technologies :( My email not working, phone unable to connect to wifi and internet playing up as well! I hope it’ll all somehow sorts itself out, because it’s very frustrating. Now then … on to much more pleasant things.

An introduction of a new and very bright Maldives statement necklace that should brighten up any day!

Colourful Maldives statement necklace by Jolita Jewellery made with vibrant turquoise silk braid , hand-dyed by the designer. Embellished with hand-painted crystals and neon pearls.

This piece is made with vibrant turquoise silk braid, with little splashes of blue,  hand-dyed in our studio. The silk is embellished with neon rhinestones and braided onto a clear crystal necklace. The centre stone is covered with hand-dyed silk and some of the crystals are hand-painted to add even more colour to this bright necklace.

The inspiration for painted motifs come from bright Jackson Pollock’s paintings.

I hope you like it? It’s one of the new favourites of my brother’s and I can see it looking stunning on a tanned body when you just came back from holidays…

You can find this necklace on our website and if interested in a similar or different custom-made piece – please get in touch!

Sparkling jewellery and the sunshine

Happy Thursday! Hope the sun is shining as bright as it does in London wherever you are!

It’s an absolutely glorious morning, not a single cloud in the sky, set to be another beautiful day.

Yesterday I got a really last minute call to loan some jewels for the fashion show in Paris. I put aside a rather big “pile” of them and couldn’t resist filming a bit them sparkling in the sun. Take a look!

The show is today and I’m excited to see the styling!

Have a wonderful sunny day ahead!

New Santorini multicoloured skull necklace

Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well and you are enjoying a glorious sunshine :)

Today I’d like to showcase our new Santorini statement necklace.

Santorini statement necklace designed by Jolita Jewellery with aquamarine and green crystals and multicoloured dyed silk braid, gradually changing from pastel pink to sky blue, hand-dyed by the designer in his London studio. The necklace is adorned with crystal and semi-precious stones embellishment at the centre and porcelain skulls at the side.

Made with beautiful multicoloured silk, hand-dyed in our studio. It’s a complex silk dying technique, which takes a few days to complete, but it’s all worth it as it allows us to achieve beautiful interchanging colours.

The centre of the necklace is adorned with a colourful embellishment, created from crystals and semi-precious stones. Some of the side crystals of the necklace are adorned with porcelain skulls, which are also hand-made by my brother!

Here’s what a piece looks like on:

Happy Sunday!

And Happy Farther’s Day too, hope you all get your dads spoiled today.

Yesterday’s grey day turned into a beautiful sunny one, but this morning started pretty grey again. However… since there’s nothing one can do about it – you just get on with it :) Today’s post is more of a confession than anything else…. and it’s a confession about my obsession with flowers. I constantly take loads of pictures of colourful blooms and have a massive folder on my iPhone dedicated just to flowers.

Beautiful Peonies

I have also set up a Floral Editorials Board on Pinterest, so if you are into flowers come and check it out.

Colours of the flowers have been a huge influence in our jewels.

Flower inspiration in Jolita Jewellery statement pieces, influencing the colours Flower inspiration in Jolita Jewellery statement pieces, influencing the colours

My brother who, as you probably know, designs all Jolita pieces,  creates all the colours by himself. He mixes high quality pigments to achieve exclusive colour palette to us. He loves experimenting and quite often creates the most beautiful shades that are non repeatable.

In addition to that I have also became very obsessive of fusing various images of our jewels with flowers, I guess this is my creative outlet since I can’t design :)

So I’m just warning you, you’ll probably see a lot more of these :D

Now that my confession is out in the open I shall go and fuse more images together.

Have a lovely day ahead!

Colourful Jeddah chartreuse statement necklace

Happy Saturday! I hope you are having a great day. It’s very grey today in London and we just had a little bit of rain, which was quite good as it’s very hot and muggy.

Since it’s so grey, something very colourful is in order and today I have just the piece to show! Our new colourful Jeddah statement necklace.

A colourful double collar statement piece by Jolita Jewellery made with clear, blue and yellow crystals, chains and neon Swarovski pearls

Made with a vibrant chartreuse double collar silk braid, hand-dyed in our studio. The silk braid is adorned with an array of dipped in gold crystals, chains, coral flowers, pearls and neon rhinestones. It’s bright, it’s bold and not for the faint hearted!

This is one-of-a-kind statement necklace, not to be repeated again. Would work perfectly with a strapless floaty dress for a summer party. Please note the colour looks a little bit different in the picture where I’m wearing the necklace as even on not such a bright day the light changes everything :)

Jeddah necklace is available on our website and if you are interested in a bespoke piece in your own colours – please get in touch!
