I’ve been down with flu last few days, so kept it a bit quite…but I am feeling better now, so ready for another post:)
My inspiration comes from a little while back and is all about braided unisex pieces. Going through our website and adding some tweaks to it I came across some of our bracelets that I almost forgot about.
Just as my brother started making his first braided necklaces, he also created a few bracelets with similar technique for men. He was always very fond of hand-crafting men’s jewellery by combining various vintage market finds, and it was sort of a natural progression incorporating the braids. Here’s our Theo bracelet, made with vintage brass chain and braided silk.
If you prefer slightly brighter colours – then braided bracelet in black, red and deep sea blue silks will be a better choice.
And last but not least – is our Tallum bracelet. This is my favourite among the ones we currently have. I really like its thick and rich braid.
In a summer time this bracelet was featured in InStyle magazine, worn as an anklet, so if you are brave enough – perhaps you could wear it in this non-traditional way…
So….considering these are unisex pieces, do you think you’d be up for sharing one of them with your other half? I personally think that’s pretty cool…and if my boyfriend wore any jewellery at all, I’d thoroughly enjoyed having something that we can wear together.
