On set of shoot inspired by Anne Boleyn

Yesterday I had a great pleasure to take part in the photo shoot inspired by Anne Boleyn and met a bunch of most fabulous and amazing people.

Firstly – a little story behind the inspiration. Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VIII who in order to marry changed the religion of the country and executed thousands who did not agree with that only to have her beheaded three years later!

With this story in mind we had some lavish props, clothes and jewellery all laid out and ready to transform the lovely model Carmen into her majesty.

First look was showing Anne as a seductive mistress of the king. For this shot we had a red dress, our dip-dyed Malaga necklace and lavish Corfu earrings in red.

For the next look we had Carmen dressed up in a white/cream lace dress, Helena necklace and stunning headpieces by an amazing designer Clea Broad.

There were a couple of more looks, showing heroine’s transformation into a powerful queen with the final look her going mad right before the death sentence…
