Although it’s still August you can tell, you can just tell how the weather turned and feels more autumnal… We did have an exceptionally nice weather throughout the July and a first week of August, which made it particularly weird seeing winter boots and coats in the shops.
But now that the summer is seemingly slipping away, it’s about the time to start reminding ourselves what’s going to be hot this upcoming season. And when thinking of colours, it seems that thinking pink is the way forward.
From soft and pale to brighter hues – pink is set to be warming us up during the fall and winter.
One quick disclaimer….. since neither I am an expert nor I blog about anything else but our jewellery – I’m not intending to suggest what bag, shoes or dresses to buy and where. Instead I’m going to stick to writing about our jewellery pieces, since that’s the subject I know best:)
So I guess it might be appropriate to show the pieces that we have made in various shades of pink so far… and it is probably also very appropriate to mention that since we hand-dye all the silk ourselves, if you have your own colour ideas – please get in touch, my brother loves experimenting:)
Dip-dyed Prague necklace is the very first one that came to my mind. It’s a recent addition to our braided necklaces collection and is perfect to sport this fall. Paired with a soft charcoal, it gives that “safer” feeling if too much pink is not your cup of tea.
Also available in gold-plated crystals:
And as a collar:
Prague Pink collar is another version of the same piece, just with a different silk braid, with more emphasis on pink, mixing in some other colours. The braid can be actually adjusted to your desires by adding in different colour silk or keeping it pink only. So if any of these are of an interest – drop me a line.
Moscow necklace also comes from the same “rhinestones family”. And although originally was created in a scarlet red silk braid, we had a customer request to make it with a pink braid and here’s the result:
Salzburg necklace is made in a beautiful and really soft pastel braid, gradually changing from pink to pastel blue. It’s a bit more colourful, so all depends on your preferences.
St.Tropez necklace is probably my new favourite. It has just a splash of pink in a silk braid, with charcoal being it’s main base colour. The braid is embellished with crystals in pink and emerald green, which work together just beautifully.
If it’s something for your wrist that you are looking – then one of our braided cuffs will do the trick. The one pictured below will work well not only for the pink trend, but also for the floral one, which is set to remain big the upcoming season.
So what are your thoughts on the pink colour trend? Is it something you’ll be adopting, or will you be sticking to other hues?
