Colourful Marseille statement necklace

Happy Saturday! The weekend is here, whoop whoop! London is back to the rainy self…. so the only way to get over the shorter days and greyer skies – something very colourful. And today I have just the piece that fits the bill perfectly well!

Meet our colourful Marseille statement necklace:

Marseille statement necklace designed by Jolita Jewellery with pink crystals and dip-dyed silk braid in fuchsia and crimson, hand-dyed by designer in his London studio.

It’s made with a dip-dyed silk braid changing from vivid fuchsia to bright crimson. The pink rhinestones are plated with zinc for the protection, but also available in gold. I have photoshopped a version of it…. perhaps not a superbly done job, but it shows very well how gold changes the way the necklace looks:

As you can see it looks much lighter with gold-plated crystals, so there’s always a choice:)

And here’s what the piece looks like when on:

What do you think? Do you like the colour combo? And which version you prefer: the black plated or dipped in gold?

You can find Marseille necklace on our website and if you like the stones, but would like a different silk braid – please get in touch! We can make the silk braid in almost any colour.

Have a colourful day ahead!
