Beautiful Italy – pics from the holidays – Sirmione

Happy Tuesday!

And welcome to the part two of my holidays post 🙂 In yesterday’s post I “took” you to Desenzano, a beautiful town by Lake Garda. Today I’d like to share some pictures from Sirmione.

Although you can take a bus, we chose to go the more scenic and fun route, by taking a boat, which only took us 20 min. It’s a very popular little town, where apparently rich people come to parade their expensive cars (although we saw significantly more of them in Desenzano) and which has the largest variety of gelato in entire Italy!

So here are the snaps from this little and beautiful town.

You’ll see how turquoise the water is. This is not because I used filters or enhanced pictures, it really is that colour.

This was a juice stall, hence all the lemons 🙂Sirmione, Lake Garda, July 2015

This is just the tiniest glimpse into one of many gelato shops. There were lots and lots more ice cream varieties, needless to say it was impossible to capture all.Gelato

And this is my gelato, which due to the heat melted faster than I could take a picture:)GelatoWell I think I condensed it pretty well, considering the amount of pictures I actually took of this gorgeous little town, where I particularly loved the “blooming buildings”.

Hope you aren’t bored of these snaps just yet, as tomorrow I’ll take you to another beautiful town of Bardolino. And that one will be the last post, I promise!

Have a beautiful day!
